General Skilled Migration (GSM) state nomination
Immigration SA will be publishing a revised State Nominated Occupation List (SNOL) on 4 July (any time from 12pm). Immigration SA has already announced some
upcoming changes to state nomination requirements.
High points category
In addition, Immigration SA’s requirement for the
high points category will be temporarily reduced from 85 to 80 points from 4 July 2016.
Please note that quotas apply to nominations in the high points category, both overall and for each occupation. Once the quota is reached, applications may be closed for certain occupations and the overall point requirement will increase to 85 points.
GSM program – saved applications and those submitted but not paid
Any saved subclass 190 or 489 state nomination application or application submitted with no payment made, will need to be submitted and payment made before 9am (South Australian time) on 30 June 2016. Otherwise, the application will be deleted. New applications can be submitted when the revised SNOL is published on 4 July.
Business Migration and Regional Certifying Body (RCB) advice applications
The Immigration SA application system will be unavailable from 9am on 30 June until 4 July 2016, due to the revised SNOL being implemented for the GSM program.
You will be unable to access the online application system or any submitted/commenced Business Migration or RCB advice applications until 4 July 2016 (any time from 12pm).
Please note that there are no changes occurring in the Business Migration program.
Updated Regional Certifying Body (RCB) website pages will be published on 1 July 2016. This reflects some changes, which were communicated to migration agents and employers who have submitted RCB advice applications in the last two years (14 June 2016).
